I wanted to replace a tricycle, because our son was wheeling downhill too fast for me and I wanted him on a more stable, less likely to tip over three wheeler. Now four and at 42″ tall, he is just big enough to pedal it. He has a bit of a problem going up our slight hills, but I think that will improve as he gets taller. The adjustable seat works well, and overall is well made and easy to assemble.
