When your child is ready to upgrade from a trike to a big kid’s bike, consider the Diamondback Mini Viper Kids’ BMX Bike. A smaller version of the full-sized Diamondback Viper, this bike is geared specifically for kids aged four to eight. It has a compact frame and training wheels for those youngsters just learning to ride. Not a cheaply made bike, the Mini Viper features a heavy-duty steel frame and fork. The aluminum wheels have twenty-eight spokes, and the seat is padded. The bike also has junior, “mushroom” style grips perfect for the smaller child in your family. Overall, customers on Amazon gave positive reviews of this model.
They note the sturdiness and durability of the whole bike, including the training wheels. However, while the Diamondback Mini Viper does come with an owner’s manual that gives tips on safety, how to ride, and the like, customers were unhappy with the lack of assembly instructions. Designed with younger children in mind and with all the features and specifications of its larger counterpart, this is one bike that is sure to last and keep both parents and children happy.

Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few reviews from owners of the Kettler Kettrike Air Navigator Trike.
We had originally chosen this trike 2 years ago for my now three-year-old. But, before we could buy it, my father-in-law went out and got the Radio Flyer similar-looking trike. He had it all put together and was very proud of himself, so we sighed and dealt with it. Now the Radio Flyer is falling apart and we’ve purchased this one. Thank goodness! It’s a great trike, sturdy, durable, and the air tires are great for going over the bumps.
Our 19 month-old son, who just loves to ride on anything (bicycle/motorbike parked on the street, his brothers’ scooters, etc.) got this for his Christmas present. The product is fine, and he is really happy with it. But I was not happy with the way it is described at Amazon.com. When I read the description from Amazon.com and the seller (manufacturer?), it was never clear to me whether the push bar comes with the trike.
