There is a new compact machine on the market for home-gym rats. Inspired by the traditionally larger elliptical machine, the Gazelle Edge offers a cardiovascular workout for an affordable price. The Gazelle Edge has received mostly positive reviews, “I absolutely love this glider! And for the price you cant beat it,” said one customer. Similar low-priced elliptical type machines cannot compare to the Gazelle Edge in terms of stability and durability. A full range of motion and a 5-function workout computer which logs speed, distance, time and calories burned comes with the easy-to-setup machine.
A foldable design for easy storage, non-skid foot platforms and steel frame make the Gazelle Edge a customer favorite. “After trying out about a dozen different elliptical exercisers in sporting stores, I eventually bought the Gazelle Edge. It is a great little exercise machine but does have some short comings,” said another customer. Accordingly, customers stress that the Gazelle Edge is not a replacement for traditional elliptical machines. Customers describe the on-board computer as “inadequate” and characterize the resistance training as “unnatural and unsatisfactory.” However, it is “perfect” for those customers who do not want to spend $1500 on a deluxe elliptical machine. characterize the resistance training as “unnatural and unsatisfactory.” However, it is “perfect” for those customers who do not want to spend $1500 on a deluxe elliptical machine.

Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few owner comments from Gazelle Edge reviews.
I just got my Gazelle Edge a few days ago and have been on it every day since. My friend comes over before her “real” workout to use it and she loves it! Says her calf muscles are super sore already (after 1 use). My 10 year old son won’t get off of it. The best thing about it is the fact that I can work out at home with a super low-impact machine (bad knees), watch TV, and not worry if someone is on my treadmill at the gym.
I thought assembly was easy- it’s not rocket science. I got it up and going within half an hour, ok, more like 45 minutes with a smoke break in the middle there. As soon as it was assembled and tightened down, I was off and going! The first evening, I did 20 minutes with no ill effects. After that, it was 30 minutes an evening every evening. The different exercises in the book take about 10 minutes and I can feel it in the various areas.
