I love the Garmin Approach. Very easy to use. I have had others comment that the font size should be bigger, but I haven’t had problem with it. Very handy knowing exactly how far the next shot is and how far to clear obstacles in front of you. I am a higher handicapper and it has actually improved my score although initially I didn’t think it would. Haven’t had it long enough to determine battery life but have used it for several rounds and am still using original batteries.
Garmin Approach G5 is an excellent product so far. Have used it for three rounds of golf so far and it has helped me greatly figuring out distances on fair shots and to the pin. Love the shot tracking to see the distance I can hit each club. Screen works fine in direct sunlight. Lithium batteries still going after 3 rounds. Has the 3 courses that I play rounds at regularly and others that I am going to play. Fits in my pocket during a round just fine.
